Kayla joined us in 2012 as our guest enjoying an extended spa stay.
After suffering a severe spinal injury as a result of IVDD, Kayla’s family found it increasingly difficult to care for her unique needs.
We were pleased to be able to offer her a home with us where we could tend to her daily medical care. We fell head over heels for this very special senior.
Kayla celebrated her 15th birthday on April 7th, 2018 and crossed the Rainbow Bridge on July 21, 2018.
15 years, 3 months and change. Kayla’s was a long life, very well lived by any standard.

It still wasn’t enough time.

We miss her so very much.
